Bending is a cold metal working which is carried out by means of specific machinery, and consists in the permanent deformation of the metal through flexure.
The bending process is applied to the metallic surfaces, allowing us to obtain semi-finished products respecting the specific requests of our Customer.
For this reason, our work begins only after a careful study of the project, then we carry it out distinctly, based on the application sector and the specific needs of our client.
Our bending division
The bending area is equipped with 5 high-tech press brakes.
All bending machines have the following features:
โข 3000mm working range
โข Different tonnages ranging from 100 to 320 tons
โข Automatic angle control
โข 4.0 integrated technologies
The 4.0 technology integration of press brakes provides our Technical office with very important advantages.
For example, the engineers are able to programm the bending operations using CAD/CAM even during the development phase of the component.
Thanks to CAD/CAM programming we can:
โข Check the project feasability
โข Carry out a correct development with the right โK– factorโ
โข Check the work program directly from the machinery.
In other words, through 4.0 integration the operator can:
โข transmit the program to the machine
โข view what molds to use and the position in which to fix them directly from the display
โข subsequently, see the three-dimensional simulation of each fold
Besides, automatic programming helps operators manage all processing with the support of the integrated press brakes.
Therefore, the order of the processes is optimized based on the tooling provided for them.
To conclude, these operations and integrations allow us to make the parts correctly and efficiently. Also, continuous control over all processes guarantees all the steps are compliant with the required quality standards.
