Thanks to stable connections with external collaborators, we can offer many additional services and treatments to complete<\/b> our clients\u2019 projects.<\/p>\n

Upon customer request, Mecal is able to carry out various surface treatments<\/b> on the manufactured parts. The purpose of these operations is mainly to give the metal components optimal finishes<\/i> that not only confer an aesthetic value, but increase their resistance<\/b> and durability<\/b> over time and reduce the risk of oxidation of the metal.
The treatments must comply<\/b> with all technical information from the documents<\/b> and\/or specifications provided by the Customers. <\/p>\n

Phosphating<\/b> refers to a chemical process that creates a reaction. In this case, the reaction is obtained by the contact between sulfuric acid<\/i> and the metallic material<\/i>.

The Geomet\u00ae<\/b> treatment is a non-electrolytic<\/i>, anti-corrosion<\/b> intervention in which an aqueous solution containing zinc and aluminum is used.

When it comes to heat treatments <\/b>applied to metal surfaces, we mean a series of processes<\/i> implemented through the use of heat<\/b>. Once applied, they enhance<\/b> and modify<\/b> some structural properties of the material<\/i>. Such treatments can be defined as the combination<\/b> of heating<\/i> and cooling<\/i> operations on metallic surfaces. During the application of heat<\/b>, some characteristics of the metals<\/i> are modified<\/b> while the residual stresses are eliminated<\/i>. For example, the hardness<\/i> and mechanical resistance<\/i> undergo a change while the resilience<\/i> is improved.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
